I started out with a pretty normal IT career. For a while it all seemed simple: work, get better at it, move up, repeat. But at some point I realized I wanted more out of life than building a career and staying in the same place.

Then I got the chance to work remotely, and that changed everything. For the first time, my job didn't get to decide where I lived. Travel stopped being a week or two off and then rushing back home. I could live somewhere for a few months, work from there, move on to the next place, and keep going.

Once I got a taste of that, staying in one place just didn't work for me anymore.

So I started traveling. A lot.

But after a while, just showing up somewhere new wasn't enough either. Walking around a new city is nice, but every place has a whole other side that only opens up once you know how to do something.

You learn to dive, and suddenly you discover a part of that place that was hidden before. You learn to ski, climb, explore caves, drop into canyons, jump out of a plane, drive a boat, and every new skill gives you another way to experience where you are.

And then you learn to fly.

Honestly, nothing beats grabbing the yoke, lifting off, and having the whole sky in front of you. You stop thinking only about how far you can drive and start thinking about where you can fly yourself. It changes the way you look at distance, travel, and freedom.

Somewhere along the way, I stopped collecting destinations and started collecting skills. Travel became less about "I've been there" and more about "what can I actually do there?"

Slowly, all of this stopped being something I squeezed into vacations. It became how I live.

That doesn't mean remote work is a vacation. It's still a real full-time job with managers, meetings, deadlines, and time zones that don't care where you happen to be. So I started arranging my days around both parts of my life. A lot of mornings I'm up early to dive, climb, ski, or do something outside, then I start work later and keep going into the evening.

I do it deliberately.

Working five days just to wait for two days off never made much sense to me. I wanted life to happen during the week too, not only on weekends and holidays. So I built a lifestyle where work supports the life I want instead of becoming the whole thing.

Eventually, Europe became my base. In summer I'm usually somewhere by the Mediterranean, with the boat in the water and diving close by. In winter I move closer to the mountains and ski season takes over. In between, the gear changes, the place changes, but the basic idea stays the same.

And I film a lot of it. Drone footage, underwater footage, trips, all of it. For years it was mostly just for me. I already had a career. I wasn't trying to become a content creator.

Then AI started changing my industry fast, and I started thinking more seriously about what the next chapter should look like. At the same time, I kept watching creators build real businesses around the lives they were already living.

That made me look differently at everything sitting on my hard drives.

I knew how to build this kind of life and actually live it, but building a media business is a completely different job. So I started thinking cast-driven.

I asked myself what version could really stand out online, and the answer became pretty clear. Build the project around two women starting from scratch and let people follow the whole transformation from the beginning.

New countries, new skills, mistakes, breakthroughs, fear, confidence, all of it.

The business is built around that journey. I bring the lifestyle, equipment, activities, logistics, experience, and the team. They bring their personalities, their progress, and their own way of experiencing it all for the first time.

That long arc, watching someone grow into skills they never imagined, is the story.

If we do it right, that's what makes it different.

And that's how Elemental Nomads started.
